Sterling Police
Mark R. Kaiser, 27, of Sterling; 10:52 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of East Second Street and First Avenue; driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane usage, no seat belt, after striking the median causing more than $1,500 damage to his vehicle; he was transported to CGH Medical Center where he was treated and released; aid received from Sterling Fire and CGH Ambulance departments.
Eric C. McKenna, 31, of Davenport, Iowa; 2:30 p.m. Sunday; at CVS Pharmacy, 2301 Locust Ave.; burglary and two counts of forgery, after he allegedly presented a forged prescription; taken to Whiteside County Jail.
Rock Falls Police
Property damage investigation; early Friday morning in the area of Eighth Avenue, East 10th Street and Avenue E; a vehicle drove through several yards and may have struck a fence in the 200 block of East Third Street.
