Amboy 33, AFC 10: Jordan Saunders scored 10 points and Jessica Walter added eight as the Clippers beat the Raiders in Ashton. Two players scored for AFC: Audra Lundquist with seven points and Aubrey Kennay with three. Milledgeville 52, Pecatonica 25: Melissa Schleuning scored 16 points and Keali Engelkens added 13 as the Missiles won at Pecatonica. Stillman Valley 57, Polo 43: Adrienne Haye led the Marcos with 13 points in a home loss against the Cardinals. Also for Polo, Katelyn Grobe had 11 points and Brandi Tyne added 10. For Stillman Valley, Sarah Nicholson had 22 points, Cassie Glendenning had 15 and Val McKnight added 12. Stockton 69, Eastland 34: August Cassens scored eight points for the Cougars in a home loss to the Blackhawks. Haley Magee paced a balanced Stockton attack with 16 points. Keeley Schulz had 15 and Jessica Brunner and Jackie Cahill added 13 each. Pearl City 40, West Carroll 26: Paige Schneider had 13 points, four steals and four rebounds for the Thunder in a home loss to the Wolves. Faith Christian 55, QC Christian 24: Parker Ortgiesen had 15 points, 13 rebounds and five steals to lead the Falcons to a win in Grand Detour. Also for Faith Christian (10-1, 4-0 NICC), Kami Kielsmeier had 16 points and five steals and Jessica Bonnell added 10 points and six rebounds. Sterling Christian 64, Fulton Unity 22: Aleena Hammelman had 24 points and five steals, and Molly Cook added 22 points, 10 rebounds and four assists to lead the Trojans (7-1, 3-0) to an NICC win at Fulton. Selena Dykstra led Unity (3-6, 2-3) with nine points and two 3-pointers. SC's homecoming game against Faith has been moved from Friday to 5:30 p.m. Thursday. Bowling Sterling 2,737, United Twp. 2,527: The Golden Warriors improved to 6-0 in dual meets with a nonconference win at East Moline. Heather Wolf led Sterling with a three-game series of 592. Allyson Howard added a 568, including a team-high 214 game. Kayla Betz rolled 557, and Brittany Behrens added 537. UT's Elizabeth Dokas led all players with a 612 series and 233 game. Dixon 2,514, Rock Island 2,490: Katie Kleinmaier's 607 series led the Duchesses to a road win over the Rocks. Rounding out the lineup for Dixon were Taylor Myers with 505, Gina Romero and Kim Jones with 476s and Skyla Strum with 450. Kleinmaier had the high game with 244. Women's basketball Carl Sandburg 81, Sauk Valley 55: The Skyhawks led 22-16 three minutes before halftime before coming apart at home in their Arrowhead Conference opener. Jessica Bennett led SVCC (8-8) with 23 points, six rebounds, six assists and three steals. Tiffany Chatmon had 16 points and 12 rebounds and Rachel Phelps added 14 points.
