Milledgeville defeats Ashton-Franklin Center

Milledgeville soared past Ashton-Franklin Center Friday night for a 50-6 victory. Kirk Engelkens had his hands in five touchdowns for Milledgeville. Milledgeville exploded for 36 second quarter points. Kurt Landis started off the scoring with a 3-yard reception from Engelkens. The senior quarterback then connected with Jake Workman for a 13-yard touchdown pass. Engelkens then added two rushing touchdowns, one from 59 yards and then second from 35 yards out. Workman capped off the second quarter scoring with a 36-yard run. The Missiles added 14 second half points. Greg Fredericks opened up the third quarter with a 73-yard kickoff return for a touchdown. Engelkens then scored his final touchdown from 22 yards out. Ashton-Franklin Center's only touchdown came on an Emanuel Chacon 1-yard run in the fourth quarter.
