Brown, Rockets finish fourth at Lincoln meet

Tanner Brown finished fourth individually and the Rock Falls Rockets took fourth as a team at the NCIC Lincoln golf meet Thursday afternoon at Spring Creek Golf Course in Spring Valley. Brown's 7-over par 80 was good enough for a three-way tie for second, but IVC's Alex Koch and Hall's Adam Doll beat out Brown in a scorecard playoff. Josh Arthurs (80), Lirim Lecaj (87) and Trevin Hippen (91) also contributed to Rock Falls' team score of 342, 12 strokes behind winner Hall. Mendota was second at 332 and IVC one shot higher (333) in third. Mendota's Jon Zinke took home medalist honors with a 79.
