Surjit Hermon

STERLING - Surjit Hermon, M.D., 61, of Sterling, died suddenly Friday, Sept. 19, 2008, in Sheboygan, Wis. He was born May 17, 1947, in Calicut, Kerala, India, the son of Roland and Emilda (John) Hermon. He graduated from Christian Medical College Vellore, India, in 1972. He joined CGH Medical Center in 1982, as a radiologist. He was a partner with Dr. Krishna Chadalavada of Sauk Valley Radiology. Surjit was integral in bringing the latest advances in radiological technology to the Sauk Valley area. He served as a former chief of the medical staff at CGH and a chairman of the radiology department. His past hospital affiliations include Morrison Hospital and KSB Hospital.
