Disaster loans OK'd for Illinois

SPRINGFIELD (AP) - Residents in 14 southern Illinois counties recovering from flooding can apply for federal disaster loans. The low-interest loans are available from the U.S. Small Business Administration to homeowners, renters and businesses affected by flooding in March. The money can be used to repair or replace damaged real estate. The loans are up to $200,000. The filing deadline to apply for the loans is Nov. 3.
