Schuldt's 34 leads Sterling past RF, Prophetstown

Ember Schuldt's 1-under-par 34 led Sterling to a triangular meet victory Monday over Rock Falls and Prophetstown at Prophet Hills Golf Course. The Golden Warriors finished with a team score of 181, comfortably ahead of the Rockets (211) and Prophets (264). Schuldt had four birdies and three bogeys in her round. She was backed by Megan Vandersee, Cady Schrader and Alicia Berogan, who each had 49. Stephanie Simpson had a 42 to lead Rock Falls. For Prophetstown, Emily Mosher had a 59. Boys golf Rock Island 163, Sterling 168: The Rocks topped the Golden Warriors in a match held at Highland Springs Golf Course in Milan. Rock Island's Andrew Ledford was the medalist with an even-par 36. Josh Kunde was low for Sterling with a 40. Rock Falls 149,
