Three injured during bar fight

GAZETTE STAFF Three people were hospitalized with injuries early Sunday morning following a fight at Leisuretime Billiards, 103 W. Third St., Sterling. Police responded to the call at 12:59 a.m. Two individuals were taken by ambulance to CGH Medical Centers for treatment of blunt trauma to the head, and a third was taken by private vehicle to CGH for treatment of stab wounds. None of the injuries was considered life-threatening, police said. The incident remains under investigation, and police are asking anyone with information to call the department at 9815) 632-6640, or the Whiteside County Crimestoppers at (815) 625-7867.
