Prosecutor defends indictment of former Sterling teacher

Former teacher Charles Christopher's motion seeking to dismiss charges he tried to solicit sex from children on the grounds the indictment is too vague, is incorrect and should be denied, a federal prosecutor said. Christopher, 28, of Rock Falls, pleaded not guilty in May to two counts of attempting to entice minors to engage in "illicit sexual activities." The two "girls" he chatted with online were in reality an undercover Burlington, Iowa, detective seeking to bust online predators, investigators allege.
