Oregon church lend's a hand – or a finger – to wrap gifts
Some people love wrapping gifts, while others find it to be a fight against the paper. Others might not have the time to wrap everything the way they would like. This is where the congregation at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Oregon stepped in Saturday. Free gift wrapping was a chance for church members to socialize with the public, while helping them start or finish the final step before giving presents to friends and family. Johnie Mudge and Marge Wilhelm teamed up to make sure the ribbon was tied tight on the packages they were wrapping. Other teams split the duty of cutting, folding, and taping to keep the packages moving. In the end, the day was a way for the congregation to help alleviate some holiday stress.
