ROCK FALLS – Roberta M. Zivney, age 87, of Rock Falls, died Monday, September 9, 2019, at the Citadel Care Center in Sterling.

Roberta was born May 30, 1932, in St. Louis, Mo. the daughter of Robert and Juanita (Matthews) Kilroy. She was employed at Borg Warner for 25 years retiring in 1994. Roberta was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by one daughter, Lorraine Zivney of Rock Falls; one son, David Zivney of Salem; two sisters, Karen Crebo and Marjie Willett both of Rock Falls; one brother, Darrell (Sue) Culver of Rock Falls; two grandchildren, Tammy (Juan) Lugo of Dixon and Curtis (Angie) Padia of Rock Falls; four great-grandchildren, Joseph, Samantha, Joshua and Gabriel; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Caroline; and three brothers, Richard, Ivan and Butch.

Graveside services will be Thursday, September 12, 2019, at 10 a.m. at Riverside Cemetery in Sterling with Pastor Heewon Kim of the Dixon United Methodist Church officiating.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
