Dixon native to have book signing

DIXON – Deborah Burggraaf, a Dixon native who has published children’s books with settings reflective of the Sauk Valley, will have a book signing from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Bunny’s Bait Shop, 1024 E. River Road.

Burggraaf is the author of 12 children’s books, including recent releases “Josie on Shadowridge Drive” and “Corky’s Travels,” both silver medal winners at the Florida Authors and Publishers President’s Book Awards on Aug. 3.

She also is the author of the historical fiction novel “Blue Night Crawlers,” which takes place in 1959 in Dixon.
