ROCK FALLS – In an effort to improve access to their Whiteside County constituents, state Rep. Tony McCombie, R-Savanna, and state Sen. Neil Anderson, R-Rock Island, are opening an office at 301 First Ave. on Aug. 26.
The office is the former home of Beach Gal Travel Services, which recently moved to 1510 E. Prophetstown Road in Rock Falls.
The 71st District is large, and some of her constituents might not find her Savanna location convenient, McCombie said in a news release.
“Opening this second office with Sen. Anderson will give constituents from the eastern part of the 71st District improved access to the services our office provides,” she said.
The pair will have a ribbon-cutting ceremony with refreshments from 4:30 to 6 p.m.
McCombie invites all to come and meet their staff.
