Royal night
Contestants vie for crowns, trophies at Ogle County Fair
Young ladies and little gentlemen turned out for a chance at high honors Wednesday during the Ogle County Queen, Junior Miss, Young Miss, and Little Miss and Little Mister competitions at the Ogle County Fair. Participants donned their best outfits for a chance at becoming royalty at the fair, with Adriana Costa, 19, of Byron, taking home the Queen trophy. Some winners took the pageant in stride, finding amusement with their trophies than letting tension get to them. The fair continues through Sunday.
