SAN ANTONIO – Air Force Airmen Bret M. Emmerson, Jacob R. Heller, and Zachary M. Lancaste, and Air Force National Guard Airman 1st Class Katherine J. Kereven graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio.
The group completed an 8-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an Associate in Applied Science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Emmerson is the son of Brian and Cami Emmerson of Ohio. He is a 2017 graduate of Princeton High School.
Heller is the son of Jason R. and Sarah M. Heller of Dixon. He is a 2018 graduate of Dixon High School.
Lancaste is the son of Kevin C. and Elizabeth A. Lancaste of Ashton.
Kereven is the daughter of Karen and Charles Kereven of Oregon. She is a 2005 graduate of Oregon High School, and a 2010 graduate of UW – Plateville.
