Milledgeville Village Jamboree

MILLEDGEVILLE – It’s jamboree time!

Pop by the village this weekend, where there will be townwide garage sales, as well as a beer garden, car show, 50-50 raffle, vendors, kids activities, including bounce houses and a petting zoo, and live music: Tonight, Bobbie White opens for Slick Trigger, Saturday night Folk N Stages opens for Sunset Strip. Sunday is the car show.

You must have a $5 wristband to drink on Main Street and attend the festivities after 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and no one younger than 21 will be allowed on Main Street after 9 p.m.

Food Truck Fridays

ROCK FALLS – Classic Mexican and American food will be available from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and again from 5 to 9 p.m. today at RB&W Park along the riverfront.

Want a little free music with your dinner? Problem Child will play from 6 to 8 p.m., and there will be yard games for kids of all ages.

Porch Fest in Mount Morris

MOUNT MORRIS – Musicians will be jammin’ from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, playing from peoples’ porches, followed by a concert at the band shell downtown.

Local food vendors will be selling their wares, too.

Bluegrass Festival in Fulton

FULTON – After a bit of an absence, the annual Bluegrass Festival makes its triumphant return Saturday to Heritage Canyon, 515 N. Fourth St. in Fulton.

Gates open at noon, bands on tap are Flash in a Pan from 1 to 2 p.m., Milltown from 2:15 to 3:15 p.m., Gone Fishin’ from 3:30 to 4:15 p.m., and the headliner, Joe Hott, from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

The Early American Crafters also will be doing their historic thing, and there will be concessions and a craft and vendor fair.

Ashton car show

ASHTON – Ashton Lions Club's awesome 40th annual Car, Truck, Motorcycle and Tractor show runs from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at AFC High School, 611 Western Ave.

There also will be an antique auto flea market, craft vendors, a 50-50 raffle, Cliff's donuts, and music by 3D Sound.
