Car shows galore

The 28th annual Lyndon Car Show will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at Richmond Park on East Fifth Ave. and Fourth St.

Register from 8 a.m. to noon; the entry fee is $12. There also will be a playground, a Boy Scouts food stand, the Fireman's Pancake Breakfast, and music by 3D Sound.

DIXON – As is tradition, singer Kathy Cecchetti kicks off a summer of music in this season's first Friday Along the Dixon Riverfront.

Pops concert

CLINTON, Iowa – The Clinton Symphony Orchestra will perform a free outdoor pops concert at 6:30 p.m. Sunday in the Riverview Park band shell, 303 Riverview Drive.

Food vendor trucks will be nearby, and Children’s Discovery Center will offer children’s activities at 5:30 p.m. In case of rain, the concert will be at U.S. Bank, 405 S. Third St.
