STERLING – Multiple bands, a live auction of celebrity items, a 50-50 raffle and food all will be part of a benefit Saturday for a Walnut woman with multiple sclerosis.
Heather Rahn was diagnosed with an aggressive form of the degenerative disease in 2017. Money raised will help pay her medical expenses.
The benefit begins at 1 p.m. Saturday at Starlight Theatre, 314 First Ave.
Tickets cost $20 and include a lunch of pizza or subs, a dinner of pulled pork or fried chicken and the chance to win a door prize.
Numerous autographed items from celebrities, including a signed script for the series finale of “Newhart,” signed by Bob Newhart, hoodies signed by Tommy Chong, graphic novels signed by John Carpenter and Sandy King, and more, will be sold at a live auction.
You need not be present to win the raffle.
The music begins at 2 p.m.; Chris Stevens, Brian Pankey, The Beaux, Magic By Gambit, and Cigar Box Skinny will perform.
Tickets are available at 815-719-2307, 779-239-0463 and at the door.
