DIXON – A couple of new businesses are on the horizon in Dixon. One’s a new spot to enjoy your java, the other is new place to buy your kicks.
Coffee Crush will be opening at 122 N. Peoria Ave., across the street from Dixon High School and in the former Domino’s Pizza spot, sometime in February, owner Shelly (Bonnell) Brantley said.
“We will have coffees, teas, baked goods and other food items,” Brantley said.
Hours are not yet set, but the cafe will employ about seven to 10 people, will be accepting applications soon, the 45-year-old Dixon resident added.
Brantley, who owns the building, said renovation has been underway since May.
