Abortion movie is a must-see

I’m writing to help spread awareness of a movie that recently came out, “Gosnell: The Trial of America’s Biggest Serial Killer.”

The movie depicts the investigation and trial of Kermit Gosnell, who for 30 years ran an illegal and unsafe abortion practice, while the political and media establishment turned a blind eye.

In 2013, a Philadelphia grand jury convicted Gosnell of murdering three infants in the first degree, and of involuntary manslaughter of a mother. The jury also found him guilty on 21 felony counts of illegal late-term abortion, and 211 counts of violating the 24-hour informed consent law. He was sentenced to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole.

This movie was rejected by major distributors. However, during its first week on the 668 screens which did show it, the movie grossed more than $1.2 million – impressive for an independent film.

Most of my information for this came from Jon Brown, a student Free Press Association fellow with The Daily Caller. Below his article was a statement by The Daily Caller saying the views and opinions of this commentary are those of the author and do not reflect the official position of The Daily Caller.

It is my opinion that every adult should read about this. I do not think that all abortion clinics are as squalid and illegal as this one was. However, I do think that “Gosnell” well informs the viewer of what the word “abortion” really means.
