Grant Wasson carded a 2-over-par 36 to lead the Rock Falls boys golf team to a 155-164 dual win against Winnebago on Tuesday at Rock River Golf & Pool.

Jalen Bickett (38), Kody Velazquez (39) and Brayden Schulz (42) rounded out the Rockets’ scoring.

The Indians’ Marcus Smith was medalist with a 33.

Ottawa 175, Sterling 186: Luke Steinke led the Golden Warriors with a 45 in a dual loss to the Pirates at Emerald Hill.

The medalist was Ottawa’s T.J. McDonnell with a 5-over-par 41.

Oregon 189, Polo 198, Genoa-Kingston 202: Jackson Buck was the medalist with a 1-over-par 37 as the Hawks won a triangular at Silver Ridge.

Caleb Scott was low for the Marcos with a 47.

Rockford Christian 158, Dixon 187: Ethan Sherman led the Dukes with a 44 in a match at Rockford Country Club.

The Royal Lions’ Riley Hogan and Kody Page shared medalist honors with 3-over-par 38s.

Sherrard 166, Erie-Prophetstown 191, Orion 213: Dawson Haggard paced the Panthers with a 45 at Lake Erie.

Sherrard’s Ethan Earl was low with a 2-over-par 38.

Riverdale 145, Morrison 210: Noah VanZuiden and Jacob Brown each had 49s for the Mustangs at Byron Hills in Port Byron.

The medalist was the Rams’ Ryan Bussert with a 3-under-par 33.

Lena-Winslow/Pearl City 192, West Carroll 201: Deacon Hill earned medalist honors with a 9-over-par 45 as the Thunder lost a dual at Sandburr Run in Thomson.

Ty Aljets was next for West Carroll with a 47.

Newman 170, St. Bede 182, Hall 195: Jacob Rude’s 39 was good for medalist honors at Spring Creek as the Comets beat the Bruins and Devils.

Cody Britt added a 40 and Blake Wolfe shot a 43.

Galena 173, Eastland 187: Riley Stover led the Cougars with a 42 at Lake Carroll.

The medalist was the Pirates’ Evan Kruse with a 5-over-par 41.


Stillman Valley 5, Oregon 1: Eli Rufer scored the Hawks’ goal in a Big Northern Conference loss.

Owen Ketter made 20 saves in net for Oregon.

Dixon 2, Mendota 1 (PKs): The Dukes topped the Trojans 4-3 in a shootout to pick up the win at A.C. Bowers Field.

Dixon got a goal from Kade Fulton assisted by Graesen Blumhoff in regulation. In the shootout, Blumhoff, Noah Grot, Kobe St. Pier and Alex Georgiev converted.

Geneseo 2, Sterling 0: The Golden Warriors fell to the Maple Leafs at the Roscoe Eades Stadium pitch.
