STERLING POLICE

Shannon D. Day, 24, of Rock Falls; 9:34 a.m. Tuesday at 702 W. Lynn Blvd.; Ogle County warrant for failure to appear in court on possession of drug paraphernalia charge; taken to Whiteside County Jail.

Carrie A. Hose, 47, of Tampico; 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at East Fourth Street and Broadway Avenue; failure to wear seat belt.

Joshua A. Wessels, 22, and Kayla M. Slusser, 20, both of Sterling; 8:28 p.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of West Third Street; Wessels for a Lee County warrant for contempt of court; Slusser for no insurance; Wessels posted bond and Slusser was released with a promise to comply.

Teresa L. Martin, 51, of Lyndon; 9:50 p.m. Tuesday in the 700 block of West Lynn Boulevard; no insurance.

Mark C. Phillips, 33, of Sterling; 11:18 p.m. Tuesday at Avenue C and West Sixth Street; Whiteside County warrant for failure to appear in court on a suspended license charge; posted bond.

DIXON POLICE

Stephon L. Nelson, 24, of Carpentersville; 10:09 a.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of South Galena Avenue; possession of 30-500 grams marijuana with intent to deliver, possession of 100 to 500 grams marijuana, suspended license; taken to Lee County Jail.

LEE COUNTY SHERIFF

Francis A. Alessi, 47, of Dixon; 11:46 a.m. Tuesday; stalking; released on $25,000 recognizance bond.
