DIXON – A 55-year-old Geneseo man accused of dealing cocaine at a Compton strip club was arrested late Thursday at the club.

Harvey D. Haars, 55, is charged with possession of fewer than 15 grams of cocaine with intent to deliver, which carries 4 to 15 years in prison, and possession of fewer than 15 grams, which carries 1 to 3 years.

Haas was arrested around 11:50 p.m. at The Candy Factory, 2849 U.S. Route 30, where he works. He posted $1,000 of his $10,000 bond and was released Friday from Lee County Jail.

His next hearing is Feb. 28.

Carley M. Foley, 24, of Loves Park, was arrested at the same time and charged with possession of a controlled substance, which carries 1 to 3 years. No further information on her case was available Friday.

More arrests are pending, the Illinois State Police Blackhawk Area Task Force said in a news release.

The arrests came after the task force received tips reporting drug activity at the club, the release said.
