Jean L. Biggers

DIXON – Jean L. Biggers, 96, of Dixon, died Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018, at Dixon Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center.

Jean was born March 12, 1921, in Beresford, South Dakota, the daughter of William and Lila (Drew) Wagner. She graduated from Dixon High School and the School of Cosmetology. Jean married Donald Biggers on April 13, 1944, in Dixon. He preceded her in death on April 15, 1991. She was self employed as a beautician for 18 years.

Survivors include one niece, Sharon (Orville) Shoemaker, and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

She also was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Lloyd Wagner; two sisters-in-law, Evelyn Wagner and Eloise Wagner; one niece, Charna Smith; and one nephew, Billy Wagner.

A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Dixon, with Pastor Lynn Bond of First Christian Church in Dixon officiating.

A memorial has been established to Serenity Hospice & Home in Oregon.
