LYNDON – Mary L. Crady, 81, of Lyndon, died Monday, Dec. 18, 2017, at Oak Hill Hospital in Springhill, Florida.
Mary was born Sept. 9, 1936, in Dixon, the daughter of Paul and Mildred (Baker) Garren. She married Garold “Pete” Crady on Jan. 8, 1954. He preceded her in death on Dec. 7, 2017. Mary was a homemaker. She was an avid collector of many things, including stamps, salt and pepper shakers, and bells.
Survivors include two sons, Kevin Crady of Brookville, Florida, and Keith (Lydia) Crady of Prophetstown; one daughter, Karen (Mark) Clements of Genoa, Wisconsin; five grandchildren, Adam and Dru Crady, David Crady, and Cameron and Conner Clements; and six great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Paul Garren, Jr.; and one grandson, Greg Crady.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Prophetstown United Methodist Church. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church. Burial will be at Lyndon Township Cemetery. McDonald Funeral Home in Prophetstown is handling arrangements.
A memorial has been established to Prophetstown and Lyndon Food Pantry.
