Once again, Grace United Methodist Church was blessed to be a collection site and relay center for the Samaritan Purse’s Operation Christmas Child shoebox project. The boxes get filled with personal care items, small toys, and school supplies for needy boys and girls, ages 2-14 years old in the U.S. and internationally.
We would like to thank the many individuals, churches, and organizations who packed Christmas gift shoeboxes this year and donated them for this year’s Operation Christmas Child mission. Because of you, many more children will be blessed with a Christmas gift that also shows them the love of Christ. Many of these children have never received a Christmas gift before, but because of your generosity, 2,971 more children will know the love of Christ through the gifts you have so graciously given. Thank You!
To learn more about this ministry, please visit samaritanspurse.org or call Grace UMC at 288-1505. If you would like to learn more, please call us, and we will arrange for a speaker to come talk with your church or organization. Now is the time to begin planning for next year’s OCC Shoebox gift giving!
Thanks again from your friends at Dixon Grace United Methodist Church.
