Hospice benefit ball to feature music

POLO – Serenity Hospice & Home’s annual Angel Ball fundraiser will be at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 2 at Barnacopia, 2570 NW Branch Road.

Costa’s Italian Restaurant will cater the meal, with a cash bar available. This year’s theme is “Music,” with live entertainment from Aireloom Music Studios in Mount Morris, Oregon High School Madrigal Singers, and piano dinner music by Leo Cardenas, a 10-year-old piano virtuoso.

The Treasure Chest will return this year, with participants receiving keys. Whomever unlocks the chest will receive the prize, tickets to the musical “Hamilton” in Chicago, inside.

Auction item donations are needed, and can be turned in by Nov. 27 at the Village of Progress, 710 S. 13th St., Oregon. Themed baskets, art, jewelry, and other items will be accepted. Donors who need help moving items can call Hospice at 815-732-2499.

Advertisers can call the hospice office to purchase space in event program.

Tickets are $85 each, or $900 for a table of eight. Proceeds benefit Serenity, Village of Progress, and the Oregon Rotary Foundation.

Go to serenityhospiceandhome.org or call Hospice to purchase tickets.
