ROCK FALLS – Tamara L. Wolzfelt, 59, of Rock Falls, died Thursday, Oct. 12, 2017, at Kindred Hospital in Sycamore.
She was born Jan. 29, 1958, in Sterling to John M. and Geraldine (Lathrop) Wolzfelt. Tammy was a certified nursing assistant with Franklin Grove Nursing Home, and formerly owned and operated TLC Cleaning. She enjoyed sundaes on Sunday at McDonald’'s, and loved to watch her soap operas and Dr. Phil on TV. Tammy was a member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Rock Falls.
Surviving are her daughter, DeLynn (Robert Dickson) Huff of Rock Falls; a grandson, Christopher Miller; a brother, Tracy (Sue) Wolzfelt of Rock Falls; aunt and godmother, Joyce Lathrop of Sterling; her aunt, Lucille Lathrop of Rock Falls; a niece, Susan Artz of Sterling; great-nieces, Gabrielle, Olivia, and Angel; and a special cousin, Jane Edeus Mara of Leveland, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Theodore “Teddy” Wolzfelt.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at McDonald Funeral Home & Crematory in Rock Falls.
A memorial has been established in her memory.
