Too soon to talk guns? Too late in Nevada

After each mass shooting – the ones that make the national headlines anyway – pro-gun congressmen claim it’s “too soon” to talk about gun regulation.

Their moments of silence stretch from one catastrophe to the next. (Columbine occurred in 1999, can we talk now?)

Despite the “too soon” ban, the NRA has given its congressional minions permission to regulate – they didn’t say ban – bump stocks. The minions were shocked – shocked! – to find the automatic weapon ban had a loophole.

Is it “too soon” to close the loophole? For the Nevada victims, more like “too late.”
