Fans meet Mr. Grant at Books on First

Ed Asner speaks to a packed room Friday at Books on First in Dixon. The actor – best known as Lou Grant from "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" and "Lou Grant" TV series, and the voice of the curmudgeonly Carl in Pixar's animated film "Up" – was there to sign his book, "The Grouchy Historian," before presenting his one-man show, "A Man and His Prostate," at the Historic Dixon Theatre. The performance was the first brought to the theater by Cue Theatricals, and replaced "Tuesdays With Morrie – The Play."
