Improve security in sports bars and local taverns

As we all know, in any establishment that serves liquor, some trouble is bound to happen – not every day, but it will happen.

It is not the fault all the time that one gets too much and starts trouble and blames it on the establishment for over-serving. Friends buy friends drinks all the time when they can’t get served anymore.

That’s where security comes in. The servers should let security know that the person is not allowed to have drinks anymore. If they’re caught with a drink, they should be escorted out of the building.

But of course, this is done rarely unless the person starts trouble.

But is security well trained to know this? Plus, security needs to be well trained in many areas, not just attending to trouble from out-of-line drinkers. There’s much more for security to do and know.

Well-trained security will keep your place, 95 percent of the time, safe.

Police and medical and the fire department should always be called in serious matters. Call for backup all the time before security attends to the problem. That way, you know backup is on its way.
