ANNAWAN – Aaron M. Frank, 34, of rural Annawan, died Saturday, Sept. 9, 2017, at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus in Silvis, after a yearlong battle with lymphoma B.
Aaron was born Aug. 10, 1983, in Geneseo, to Lorre Frank. He was raised by his grandparents, Errol and Beverly Frank, in rural Annawan. Aaron graduated in 2004 from Annawan High School. He enjoyed helping his grandfather farm and riding in his semi. Aaron had worked at Abilities Plus in Kewanee. His hobbies included fishing, riding his bike, camping, and watching the Chicago Cubs and the Green Bay Packers. Aaron touched so many hearts with his text messages and sense of humor.
Survivors include his grandmother, Beverly Frank; mom, Lorre Walker; brother, Marcus (Courtney) Sleaford; and sisters, Ashley (Josh) Palumbo and Jessica (Adam) Gordon. Also surviving are aunts and uncles, Kim Frank, Lonnie (Tammy) Frank, and Lindsey (Michelle Thompson) Frank; nephews, Alex and Adien Palumbo; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins who were special to him.
Aaron was preceded in death by his grandfather, Errol Frank, and his great-grandparents.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today, and the funeral at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Stackhouse-Moore Funeral & Cremation Services in Annawan. The Rev. Terry Lancaster and the Rev. Jan Shaulis will officiate. Burial will be in Yorktown Cemetery in Henry County.
