Distributorship employees help to clean up field

On June 5, people across the globe came together for World Environment Day, sponsored by the United Nations, to focus on making a positive impact on our environment.

In life and in beer, water is among our most precious resources. That’s why we at G&M Distributors, the local Anheuser-Busch distributor, are joining forces with Anheuser-Busch to spread a message about the importance of environmental protection and water conservation.

With water becoming increasingly scarce due to the rapid decline of watershed quality around the world, we are proud to support Anheuser-Busch’s water stewardship initiatives.

Anheuser-Busch has partnered with the River Network for the past 8 years to host World Environment Day community events, supporting its Cleaner World goals around environmental protection.

This year, Anheuser-Busch and River Network have implemented more than 20 on-the-ground river and watershed restoration and protection projects for its employees and local communities. As Anheuser-Busch’s wholesaler partner in Lee County, we are excited about the opportunity to participate in these local cleanup events.

The employees at G&M Distributors volunteered their time Friday to help clean up Volunteer Football Field in Dixon. G&M worked on the general landscape surrounding the football field, as well as planting shrubbery and flowers around the scoreboard.

We’d like to thank Anne’s Garden Center for its donation of flowers to beautify the football field.

By coming together, we can create a more sustainable future.
