It's almost time for Tampico Fest

TAMPICO – The 42nd annual Tampico Fest will return June 23-25.

Tickets will be sold the entire weekend for a 50-50 raffle.

The beer garden will be open from 5 p.m. to midnight Friday, with the alternative rock band Alborn Theory playing at 8.

On Saturday, the mud volleyball tournament will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Registration forms are available at Kickback Saloon, 102 N. Main St.; People’s National Bank, 120 S. Main St.; and Casey’s General Store, 201 S. Main St.

Also on Saturday, Kids games will be available at Booth Park, and there will be a car cruise drive-in from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Main Street.

The beer tent will be open from 10 a.m. to midnight. Dirt Road Rockers will play from 8 p.m. to midnight.

The fireman’s breakfast kicks off Sunday festivities from 7 a.m. to noon.

There will be an ice cream social from noon to 4 p.m., and the beer tent will be open from 1 to 10 p.m.

The annual Homecoming Parade, sponsored by the Tampico Lions Club, will begin at 1 p.m.
