ROCK FALLS – In celebration of its 100th year in business, the Republic Companies of Davenport, Iowa, partnered with Loescher Heating and Air Conditioning in Rock Falls to donate and install a YORK furnace to Teri South and her family.
South has operated a day care out of her home for more than 20 years. She shares her home with her daughter’s family of five, and has an open door for those in need.
She also is active in, and donates her time to, St. Andrew Catholic Church.
Republic, a Davenport-based HVAC distributor, is covering the cost of the YORK unit.
Loescher will install the donated furnace at no cost to South.
“We are grateful for the support we receive from the community and are eager to partner with Republic in this generous effort,” Kevin Rauch of Loescher said.
Republic will give away 25 high-efficiency YORK furnaces to homeowners in need.
The company believes in paying it forward and partnering in its Give Warmth Campaign, Mark Kilmer, president, said.
