Seminar on vaccination choice planned in November

DIXON – "To Vaccinate or Not Vaccinate: A Cost-Benefit Analysis Seminar," will be from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Nov., 14 at the Historic Dixon Theatre, 114 S. Galena Ave.

Doors open at 4:30 p.m. A cost-benefit analysis of vaccines will be presented, as will information on the immune system's building blocks, adverse reactions to vaccines, mandatory vaccine laws and exemptions, and more.

Presenters include Dr. Tetyana Obukhanych, with a Ph.D in immunology from Rockefeller University in New York; Marcella Piper-Terry, a biomedical consultant with Cady Wellness Institute in Newburgh, Indiana; and Sabha Abour, who is working toward her doctorate degree in chiropractics.

Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Advance tickets are sold at Carlson Acupuncture and Chiropractic Clinic, 115 N. Galena Ave., Dixon, and at Health and Nutrition Plus, 2522 E.
