FORRESTON – A suburban Chicago real estate agent who was bow hunting in Ogle County died Saturday night after being hit by a combine while he was walking along a rural road in Forreston, the Ogle County Sheriff's Department said.

David Olzeski, 65, was walking with the flow of traffic in the 10000 block of West Lightsville Road, northeast of Forreston, at 6:30 p.m. when he was struck from behind. He was flown to Rockford Memorial Hospital and pronounced dead at 8:30 p.m., the sheriff's department said.

Olzeski, who was dressed in camouflage clothing, was hit in the head by one of the combine's tines, the Winnebago County coroner's office reported.

Sheriff Michael Harn said the combine driver, whose name has not been released, is not being charged.

Olzeski was a Century 21 Realtor in Park Ridge.
