Ogle County Sheriff

Mark W. Miller, 54, of Chana; 8:04 p.m. Wednesday on East Honey Creek Road; driving while license revoked, illegal transportation of alcohol, operating an uninsured motor vehicle; issued citations, taken to Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.

Robert Bozek, 34, of Rochelle; Wednesday; warrant for aggravated criminal sexual abuse; held at Ogle County Jail and given notice to appear.

Mary J. Snyder, 46, of Davis Junction; Wednesday; warrant for speeding; posted bond and given notice to appear in court.

One injured in crash Wednesday

OGLE COUNTY – A Winslow woman received minor injuries Wednesday in a single-vehicle crash on state Route 72 West.

Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene at 1:35 p.m. A Ford Explorer driven by Janice Campbell, 50, was eastbound when Campbell swerved to avoid a raccoon in the roadway. She lost control, and her vehicle overturned in the roadway.

Campbell was taken to FHN Memorial Hospital in Freeport, where her condition was unavailable Thursday.
