HARVARD – After a 3-1/2 hour weather delay, the Rock Falls Rockets (0-1) lost to the Harvard Hornets(1-0), 41-0. The delay did not allow for a full game story to be written before SVM’s deadline.

The Rockets failed to score after multiple trips into the red zone.

Senior QB Jacob Mammosser completed 15 of 27 passes for 170 yards. The field conditions proved to be a challenge for the Rockets, with dropped passes, low snaps, and two fumbles.

The offensive line gave up seven sacks, making things difficult for the team. The Rockets attempted to get the ground game going with junior Braeden Westfall. He rushed for 153 yards on 14 attempts.

He broke open two good 15-yard runs against the Hornets defense in the first half.

The Rockets have their work cut out for them heading into week two. They looked sloppy, racking up nine penalties against them, including three false starts in the second half.
