On the Rise: Youth conference set for Sept. 6

ROCK FALLS – Youngsters can hear Willet’s uplifting message now, or in person Sept. 6 at Rise Youth Conference.

The national-touring Christian band will play the event at Rock River Christian Center, 1800 Prophet Road. The band also just released its new community worship album, “Searchlight,” which can be bought or streamed at willetonline.com.

The conference will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m, and feature food and games.

Among other national speakers, frontman Jeremy Willet will talk with attendees about serving their community and the world, according to a news release. Twelve break-out sessions will be held.

Youth groups and individuals can register for $10 per person by Aug. 15 and $12 per person after. Lunches will be available from Culver’s for an additional $5.
