Drop off electronics, recyclables Friday in Oregon

OREGON – The Ogle County Solid Waste Management Department’s monthly residential recycling day will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday at the south end of its building at 909 W. Pines Road.

A $10 fee will be charged for each microwave oven. Make checks payable to Ogle County Solid Waste Management Department. 

Participants are limited to one TV and one computer monitor per recycling day.

Recycling days will be held the last Friday of the month for the foreseeable future, with the exception of November, when it will be held Nov. 21 because of the Thanksgiving holiday.
