Donald K. Wolfe

ELDENA – Donald K. Wolfe, 72, of Eldena, formerly of Clinton, Tennessee, died Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014, in his hometown of Eldena, after a short illness. Donald was a master carpenter by trade. 

He was born Aug. 16, 1942, in Dixon, the son of Oren and Marilyn Jean (Lyle) Wolfe. He was an avid fly fisherman, and fished streams from the Rocky Mountains to the Smoky Mountains.

Survivors include his wife, Susan of San Antonio; two sons, Derrick (Vicki) Wolfe of Sylacauga, Alabama, and Aaron (Carrie) Wolfe of Olean, New York; one brother, L. William (Cheri) Wolfe of Eldena; two sisters, Jan (Dillard) Hudson of Eldena, and Judy (Ray) Link of Shingle Springs, California; and four grandchildren, Yemme, Mary Lynn, Adam and Max Wolfe.

Graveside service and burial of cremains will be at a later date at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Dixon. Preston-Schilling Funeral Home in Dixon is handling arrangements.

A memorial has been established to Serenity Hospice & Home in Oregon.
