PROPHETSTOWN – There’s a new wheeler-dealer in town.

RK Auto Sales opened in May, bringing new life to the old Texaco station at 101 E. Third St. that’s been sitting empty for years.

Ryan McCowan sells cars, accessories and diesel performance products on the corner of Third and Washington streets. He also provides a 24-hour towing service.

His shop is open from 1 to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday or by appointment. He says he tries to get there earlier than that each day, though, so if the door is open, come on in.

Need a tow? Call him at 815-537-5000 anytime.

Yes. Sterling and Dixon have had bans for years. It’s time for Rock Falls to impose a ban.
