Amboy Clippers

Coach: Zach Ross (12th season)2013: Amboy finished sixth at the 11-team 1A Putnam County regional.

Bureau Valley Storm

Coach: Dan Gustafson (4th season)2013: Bureau Valley was 10th at the 1A Putnam County regional.

Coach: Lee Eastman (first season)2013: Dixon finished third at regionals and was 10th at sectionals. The Dukes had an 11-2 record during the regular season.

Coach: Jason Hill (10th season)2013: Eastland finished seventh at the 12-team Rockford Christian Life regional and advanced two individuals to sectionals.

Coach: Tyler Swanson (first season)2013: Fulton finished fifth at the 1A Galena regional and qualified two individuals for sectionals.

Coach: Andrew Tenboer (First season)2013: The Mustangs placed second at the Galena regional and eighth at the Byron sectional after a 14-7 regular season.

Newman Comets

Coach: Carol Nieman (sixth season)2013: Newman finished ninth among 12 teams at the 1A Rockford Christian Life regional. Senior Todd Nelson advanced to sectionals.

Coach: Jim Spratt2013: Oregon placed seventh among 12 teams at the 1A Byron sectional after a second-place finish at regionals.

Outlook: Spratt believes that this year’s team could be the best he has had in his seven years. The Hawks should get out of their regional this season, and be competitive at sectionals.

Coach: Don Reece (8th season)2013: Polo was eighth at the 1A Rockford Christian Life regional.

Prophetstown Prophets

Coach: Karen Wiersema (first season)2013: The Prophets took 12th at the 1A Galena regional, 34 strokes ahead of last-place River Ridge.

Coach: Thomas Frank (13th season)2013: Rock Falls went 19-3 and took seventh at the 12-team Freeport sectional.
