MORRISON – Dorothy M. Vos, 83, of Morrison, died Thursday, Aug. 14, 2014, at Pleasant View Nursing Home in Morrison. She was employed at General Electric Co. in Morrison, and was a homemaker.

Dorothy was born July 27, 1931, in Morrison, the daughter of Donald G. and Kathryn Zuidema. She married Bernard “Barney” Vos on Aug. 11, 1950, in Morrison. She was a member of Ebenezer Reformed Church in Morrison.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Sherri (Kevin) Ross of Clinton, Iowa, and Racel Vos of Stafford, Texas; two sons, Robert Vos and Dennis Vos, both of Morrison; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Geraldine (Donald) Damhoff of Morrison.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Robert M. and Warren Zuidema.

Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesday and the funeral at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home in Morrison, with Ken Renkes, director of congregational care at Ebenezer Reformed Church in Morrison, officiating. Interment will be at Grove Hill Cemetery in Morrison.

In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established to Ebenezer Reformed Church and autism research.
