John J. Jenkins

DIXON – John Joseph Jenkins, 55, of Dixon, died Monday, Aug. 11, 2014, at his home. He drove a truck for Crop Production Services for 15 years.

John was born April 14, 1959, in Dixon, the son of Anthony and Donna (Heyer) Jenkins. 

He is survived by five sisters, Kimberly Zera of Dixon, Mona (Rod) Bunger of Rochelle, Sue (Dave) Spink of Mount Morris, Treasa Werner of Dixon, and Brenda Triplett of Mayfield, Kentucky; one aunt; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Matthew Jenkins.

There will be no services. Burial of cremated remains will be at a later date at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Dixon. Preston-Schilling Funeral Home in Dixon handled arrangements.
