CLINTON, Iowa – Sharon Webb, 58, of Clinton, died Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2014, at Rockford Memorial Hospital.

Sharon was born Dec. 1, 1955, in Vadalia, Georgia, to William Henry and Lucinda (Tanner) Yarbrough. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Candra Yarbrough of Herrin and Lucinda Yarbrough, of Arizona; one son, Jason Spicer of Marion; five sisters, Effie McGee of Normal, Carrie Yarbrough-Carr of Sterling, Hazel Davis of Long Beach, California, Annie (Dave) McGee of Moreno Valley, California, and Elaine (Fred) Peters of Clinton, Iowa; five brothers, Isaac (Earline) Mercer and William Henry Yarbrough Jr., both of Dixon, Robert Yarbrough of Camden, New Jersey, Wesley Yarbrough of Forrestville, Maryland, and Curtis (Edie) Yarbrough of Dixon; 13 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.  

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Mary Yarbrough; and three brothers, Jimmy Mercer, Alec Mercer, and Bernie Yarbrough.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the funeral at 1 p.m. Friday at Schilling Funeral Home in Sterling, with Jerry Wright, pastor of The Rock Christian Church in DeKalb, officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Sterling.

A memorial has been established.
