ROCK FALLS – Children up to 13 years can enter the “Color for College” scholarship contest from The Cellular Connection, a Verizon wireless retailer, until Aug. 31.

In the Sauk Valley area, the participating store is at 107 First Ave in Rock Falls.

At the store, children will receive a pre-printed page they can color, and then complete the entry information on the back to enter the competition. One $1,500 scholarship will be given to the winning entry at each participating store, in the form of a 529 College Savings Plan.

Winners will be picked Sept. 5 in a random drawing; no purchase is necessary. Parents or guardians of the winners will be contacted by Sept. 30 on how to redeem the scholarships.

Visit ecellularconnection.com for more information on TCC.
