MORRISON – Anyone who needs a power washer now has a place to go.

Pressure Washing Unlimited, 100 W. Main St., opened its doors in March.

It sells power washers, power hoses, generators, accessories, chemicals and service repairs.

“We don’t do the services in Morrison; we just have the products,” owner Nicole Mioletti said. “We are slowly trying to move the business from Chicago.”

Mioletti, 25, said the business is in the process of moving to Morrison because of the local industry, and because she has family in the area.

Her father, Edward, began running the business in 1992. When he fell ill, Mioletti took over the business in 2009.

Products can be ordered from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. For more information, go to pw-unlimited.net or call 815-772-0110 or 773-392-1500.

Among other items, the restaurant offers burgers, fish, meatloaf, tacos and a salad bar.

“We make everything ourselves,” owner Julie Stees said. “We use fresh patties every day.”

Stees, 59, also said the restaurant serves alcohol. Although there is no bar in the establishment, Stees hopes to have one in the coming months.

Pub n Grub is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday and from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday.

Yes. Sterling and Dixon have had bans for years. It’s time for Rock Falls to impose a ban.
