State police employees, volunteers honored

SPRINGFIELD – Hiram Grua, Illinois State Police director Hiram Grau and ISP command staff members, recognized the contributions made by sworn and civilian members of the state police, government agencies, and the public.

The 37th annual awards ceremony was Aug. 1 at Glenwood High School in Chatham.

Inspector Doug Wade of the Blackhawk Area Task Force was presented with the Director's Award of Distinction. Trooper Jeffrey A. Meisenheimer of District I in Sterling was recognized, and Connie S. Grenoble of District 1 was named a Telecommunicator of the Year Nominee.
